OPEN ROAD played an excellent set at the 14th Shalbourne Beer & Muisc Festival held this July in Wiltshire. The overall impression was of professionalism in getting the crowd involved in the music and ensuring that a good time was had by all. The choice of music was suited to the occasion and their technical expertise both during the session and in preparation was second to none. You had the feeling that whatever the difficulty they had the attitide and experience to overcome it. But the lasting impression was how much they enjoyed the music themselves and this communicated to the crowd very successfully. We will be having them back very soon!! |

Phil and the lads were absolutely brilliant, not only with their great performance at our event and getting everyone up dancing, but supporting the event organisers with advice before and during the day, advising what equipment was necessary for all the bands and then providing it! The event went really well and it would not have happened without your expertise and help. I would highly recommend you not only musically but as experts in your field! Thank you to all of you!!  |

Well done lads. Had a great evening at the Longridge Mid summer do, with some great entertainment. One thing stood out, and that was the way you lads got the atmosphere back up and running after the technical problems the band had who were due to play before you. Talk about get stuck in - great rock'n'roll music played the way it should be. Hope your back next year!! |

Came up to Hungerford to the Tavern for some live music. Not the biggest crowd - what pub can guarantee that now??? - but good on you boys. Played as though it was a full house. Great rock'n'roll set - if your there again, our lot will be over to see you again. Cheers |

Once again Open Road put in a great live show at The Dolpin PH Newbury. Shame the set ended at 11pm another hour would have been great, Crowds tend to show later just as bands are rapping up,landlord should let bands play later if possible that would really make this a place to be seen, and hear great rock n roll being play with passion for the music and entertaining the crowds. Hope to see Open Road again..............nice wigs |

Visiting Newbury last night we saw the band. Though no longer in our "teens", we thoroughly enjoyed the band and it's wide ranging appeal. Not to be missed. |

Just recovered from the party on the 10th Oct. Fantastic night guys!!!!! The only local covers band I've seen to get the crowd going right from the beginning - not just the start of the show, but the reaction when you soundchecked, superb. It was hot, sweaty, heads down, good times rock'n'roll show all the way, and when you're back in this part of the world we'll be there to see you. Top stuff!!!! |

What a great performance the other night...enjoyed the music..great to have songs that you can have a good sing along to. Sorry about knocking over your mic stand..we were just enjoying ourselves too much!!..looking forward to next time. |
